Helen Keller: Born healthy, she became ill before her second birthday with Scarlet Fever & the high temperature typical of the disease left her without her two most important senses at a critical time in her development. Albert Einstein: Responsible for the Theory of Relativity, he received the Nobel Prize for Physics, as his findings had a profound effect on everything from quantum theory, to nuclear power, to the atomic bomb, a result that deeply distressed the pacifist and humanitarian.
