Marcom Project was founded in 1983, selling maps and visuals to Queensland schools. Since 1989, the business has expanded to include a comprehensive range of educational, specialist and entertainment DVDs, and CD-ROMs.
Marcom's exclusive educational catalogue includes over 4000 DVD, CDROM, Music CD titles, designed specifically to support the learning curricula of Australia and New Zealand.

Marcom’s extensive DVD and CDROM catalogues cover all major areas of the educational curriculum. We particularly focus on programs for the 'non-traditional areas' of the curriculum, such as performing arts, trades, early childhood education, and current social issues including adolescent issues, community and health, and environment. Some of our major catalogues include Creative Industries, The Sciences, Society and Humanities, Hospitality, Engineering & Technology, English, ESL & Literacy, Religion, Community Languages (LOTE), History Environment, and Pre-school Primary School and Childhood Education.
Marcom is the exclusive distributor of programs from pre-eminent educational producers and Visual Education Centre, Annenberg, Sunburst, Schlessinger, Learningseed, and many others. Marcom also distributes many ABC Television programs not available through stores, Screen Australia, Ronin Films, Visionquest, Artemis Films, Content Mint, and many independent Australian producers and our catalogue includes hundreds of specialist titles not available through retail outlets. Marcom also distributes most DVDs released for the Australian home market.
